US Removes Four Indian Companies from Sanctions List Over Alleged Russia-Linked Exports

The United States has removed four Indian companies, including RRG Engineering Technologies, Lokesh Machines, Galaxy Bearings, and Shaurya Aeronautics, from the OFAC sanctions list after they were previously accused of exporting advanced technology, industrial equipment, and dual-use products linked to Russia's military-industrial base.

The United States has removed four Indian companies from its sanctions list after they were previously accused of supplying advanced technology and equipment to support Russia's military-industrial base. The companies have been deleted from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List, marking a significant development in the sanctions framework.

According to details released by the United States Department of the Treasury on Tuesday, the four companies removed from the sanctions list are Hyderabad-based RRG Engineering Technologies Private Limited and Lokesh Machines Limited, Ahmedabad-based Galaxy Bearings, and New Delhi-based Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited.

Galaxy Bearings Ltd had been sanctioned by the United States in October 2024 over allegations that it exported dozens of high-priority dual-use items, including roller bearings and roller assemblies, to Russian entities.

Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited had faced sanctions after the United States alleged that it supplied shipments of radar apparatus, radio navigational aid apparatus, radio remote control apparatus, and electrical apparatus to Russia.
